Ankur & The Ghalat Family

is the Hindi rock project of singer-songwriter Ankur Tewari. Formed in 2009, this Mumbai act employs the services of Sidd Coutto (Tough On Tobacco, Airport) on drums, Johan Pais (Tough On Tobacco) on bass and Gaurav Gupta (Tough On Tobacco) on guitar. The band’s music is easily digestible pop rock, and their debut album Jannat was released independently in 2010. The band contributed music to the Bollywood film Raat Gayi Baat Gayi in 2009.
