Lost festival may have been announced last year and not found its place on the Indian festival calendar, but event management agency Percept has announced a new two-day festival titled Fly that hopes to take off this February.

The two-day music festival that will be held in Noida has announced a lineup that stretches itself across the spectrum to include  thrash metal band Anthrax, rap-metal band Limp Bizkit, Scottish singer KT Tunstall, guitarist Robby Krieger and keyboardist Ray Manzarek billed as The Doors, UK-based Dhol Foundation, dub, reggae and hip hop group Dub Pistols from London, The Wailers originally founded by Bob Marley and Dubai-based death metal band Nervecell among others. However, Anthrax fans may be in for some disappointment as lead guitarist Rob Caggiano recently announced that he was quitting the band to focus on producing music. The band is yet to announce its new guitarist. Anthrax rhythm guitarist Scott Ian posted on Twitter recently: “Going to India with @Anthrax in February…” confirming news of a show in the country.

The Fly Music Festival lineup will also include 10 Indian bands that will be announced soon. Said Shailendra Singh, head of Percept Live, “For a long time now, fans of live music have been getting a raw deal with all festivals bringing in one international act and repeating the same Indian acts. FLY will be the first festival that will boast of a lineup with a majority of international artists. For the first time, an Indian fan will witness the likes of Limp Bizkit, Anthrax, Doors, Wailers, KT Tunstall and many more popular names on the same stage.”
