Blood & Iron is a metal band from Chennai formed in 2005. After numerous line-up changes, for about a year and a half, the band stabilized.
The band consists of: Mark Thomas ”“ Vocals Vivin Kuruvilla ”“ Keyboards Vikram Bains ”“ Guitars Ashish Shetty ”“ Guitars Arun Daniel ”“ Bass Manu ”˜Vlad’ Krishnan ”“ Drums. The sound of Blood & Iron is a mix of various metal sub-genres. Blood & Iron has released a self-titled demo album independently in 2007. The six-piece band is currently working on material for their third studio album, the follow-up to their sophomore release Dynamite World.
Their influences include by bands like Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Dream Theater, Hammerfall, Nightwish, Manowar, Primal Fear, Death, Judas Priest, Kreator etc.
Blood and Iron has played numerous live shows across India, concentrating mainly on originals, as opposed to covering our favorite bands live.
