Fans need not worry about outrageous ticket prices as they will be available for free. Interested attendees will have to ‘earn’ their tickets by showing their support in the fields of education, equality and sanitation campaigns. To stand a chance to earn a ticket, fans will have to sign up to become a ‘Global Citizen’ and accomplish the necessary requirements of the festival’s campaigns. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has committed to the Global Citizen Festival until 2030. The whole initiative of the festival is to make people aware of basic areas of life that need to be dealt with and resolved.
