Deadmau5 hit Ultra Music Festival and Lollapalooza Brazil this spring, and during breaks from a Las Vegas residency he’s been active on SoundCloud, previewing five tracks in the past month alone.

Most recently, the Grammy-nominated producer has released some clips of his new collaboration with dubstep heavyweight Kill the Noise. With a lilting, yet aggressively-tuned bassline, off-beat melodic stabs and vocal glitches reminiscent of Michael Jackson, “Killthemau5” falls on the more industrial side of the Canadian artist’s spectrum.

Another notable entry on Deadmau5’s fuckmylife SoundCloud page is the track “Suite 03,” a throwback to his early days of arpeggiated and slowly morphing trance buildups. As the track reaches a fever pitch, Deadmau5 cuts the preview short just before the drop. Deadmau5 has also been hard at work on the debut album of his celebrity fiancée Kat Von D lately: On demo “Satellite,” her vocals sit nicely over a gloomy piano-and-strings intro before giving way to a minimalist breakdown highlighted by an infectious snapping rhythm and machine-like glitches.

Deadmau5 is slated to appear at the Veld Music Festival in Toronto and the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia this summer. Though the helmeted producer has been letting fans in on his studio experiments through his live stream and SoundCloud for a week now, there is still no word on whether these tracks will see an official release.
