 2) Best Heard and Not Seen: Menwhopause Â
Despite being on a stage besieged with sound and a lackluster crowd at Fully Fantastic stage, Delhi band Menwhopause kept their set tight on Day 1. Performing mostly from their second album Easy, vocalist Randeep Singh, who has taken over full time from Sarabjit Singh, sang to an afternoon audience of about 15 fans ”“ the curse of that stage. Â As one of the countries oldest alt-rock-meets-psy acts, their music is as comfortable and dependable as your most worn-in pair of denims. Sadly, their brilliant tunes including “Father Monologue” and “Can’t We Be Dreaming,” despite Singh’s energetic effort, were missing stage chutzpah.
