Watch Miley Cyrus’ Steamy Bob Dylan Cover With the Roots on ‘Fallon’

Singer performs “Baby, I’m in the Mood for You,” addresses host’s Donald Trump controversy

Miley Cyrus visited The Tonight Show Friday to perform a surprise cover of Bob Dylan‘s “Baby, I’m in the Mood for You.” The Roots also joined Cyrus on the sultry version of the Dylan-penned track, with Cyrus’ take inspired by singer Odetta’s famed 1965 rendition.

During the performance, Cyrus even addressed the controversy surrounding The Tonight Show‘s previous night visit from Donald Trump, where host Jimmy Fallon was accused of taking it too easy on the candidate.

“Alright everybody, how we all doin’ tonight? Here at Jimmy Fallon, everybody in the audience, everybody at home, I can’t forget about you. I wanna say thanks to you,” Cyrus sang off-the-cuff in the middle of the performance.

“There is nowhere I would rather be than in New York City playing this song with the Roots, and being on Jimmy Fallon with our host, who is always so much fun, except when you’re Donald Trump. And then don’t even think about messing with my hair, I’m serious.”

Cyrus’ presence was all over The Tonight Show Friday as the new Voice cast member talked about being on that show, gave Fallon a yoga lesson and played an uncomfortable game of Phone Booth:
