MTV Bloc Party Brings DJ Alesso To India
The two-day event will feature multiple parties across four venues in Mumbai

Juhu is all set to be overrun with party-goers next weekend. The suburb will see revelers hop and skip around the locality to catch 19 artists who are part of the MTV Bloc Party on January 18th and 19th.
One of the youngest top DJs in the EDM scene, Swedish DJ Alesso will headline the two-day event which also features Turkish progressive house DJ Deniz Koyu, New Zealand glitch hop artist Opiuo and British house producer Simon Dunmore, among 15 other EDM artists.
The idea of one ticket to gain entry into multiple parties means MTV Bloc Party packs in over 20 hours of music across four venues, with the main event taking place at Juhu Hotel, which was previously every Mumbai metalhead’s haunt with the metal mecca Razzberry Rhinoceros. After things wrap up at 10pm, the night bloc parties begin across three venues in the locality ”“ Beachcomber, Â Rock Bottom and another club yet to be announced. The hassle of traveling across venues is all taken care of with hop-on-hop-off Bloc Party buses available.
Day two of the event will feature a more relaxed start, with food, music and a beer arena. Things get kicked into a different gear with a sundown party on  Saturday, which starts at 5pm.Â
MTV Bloc Party also includes performances by Indian EDM DJs such as B.R.E.E.D, Pearl, Arjun Vagale [of psytrance group Jalebee Cartel], Anish Sood and Nawed Khan.Â

MTV Bloc Party takes place on January 18th and 19th at Juhu Hotel. Night Bloc takes place across three venues from 10pm onwards.
