With Nicki Minaj blasting Miley Cyrus, Cyrus’ surprise new album, Kanye West’s poignant Video Vanguard Award speech and the return of (a high-flying) Justin Bieber dominating the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, it’s easy to forget that the show actually hands out awards throughout the night.
