Something Relevant play the TiLT Festival on Sunday at Blue Frog, Mumbai

The second edition of the TiLT festival kicks off this weekend. This time, TiLT takes on a new “urban culture festival” avatar. Mixing food, music and err…shopping together, the TiLT Festival will take place at three venues – Blue Frog, Busaba and Cafe Zoe – all conveniently located at Mumbai’s Mathuradas Mills compound in Lower Parel. Here’s a rundown of the festival’s music offerings:

DJ Arno Cost

Friday, April 20

In an unlikely pairing, acoustic singer/songwriters Tek (Slow Down Clown’s Vitek Goyel) and SonaLuna will open for French progressive house DJ Arno Cost at Blue Frog. Simultaneously, Busaba will throw a Bangkok Warehouse Party with DJs Pyramid Sl*ts, Folic State and Mukul Deora.

Saturday, April 21

Arjun Vagale (Jalebee Cartel)

Blue Frog hosts audiovisual collective Delhi’s B.L.O.T., Jalebee Cartel’s Arjun Vagale and pop/rave/techno duo Coma from Germany as part of the Mumbai leg of the three-city Indo-German music conference/festival India Goes 3D. Busaba, in ‘Malaccamadness’ mode will include DJ sets by spaceJams (part of the Bhavishyavani Future Soundz crew), Phase~Shift and DJ Bigprihkchopstik.

Sunday, April 22

Blue Frog calls it a wrap with a live set from Mumbai jam band Something Relevant and a DJ set from Akshai Sarin. The adjacent Cafe Zoe gets in on the act on Sunday evening with ‘Sunday Jams Live Bands’ featuring musicians like Vitek Goyel, Stuart D’Costa and Anushka Lewis.
