Ray-Ban Never Hide Sounds 2011 – Call for Entries

Ray-Ban Never Hide Sounds is a brand new platform for young Indian rock bands to showcase their talent at a national level.

Bands can register online by emailing their profiles and digital demos to entries@neverhidesounds.com or send physical copies of the same to:

LAST DATE FOR ENTRIES : 30TH SEPTEMBER 2011

In the first elimination round, 15 bands will be shortlisted by a team of Rolling Stone India editors based on the quality of their demos. The videos, music and profiles of the Top 15 bands will then be uploaded onto Ray-Ban.com.
In the second round, the shortlist will be whittled down to five bands in a two way judging process involving an online poll open to the general public and a jury selection process involving leading musicians and executives from the music industry. Equal points weightage will be given to both, the online poll and the jury vote.

The five winners of this judging process will be got to Mumbai for the Ray-Ban Never Hide Sounds Grand Finale concert in Mumbai in December. They will share the stage with two leading artists. Each band will also receive musical instruments and gear worth Rs. 50,000, courtesy of Ray-Ban.
