A complaint to pop star Robbie Williams and Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page’s local council has allegedly stated that Williams has been “blasting Black Sabbath music,” over a home extension row with Page.

The musicians, who live in west London’s Holland Park ”“ have reportedly come to be at odds with each other after Williams was given conditional approval in 2017 for building a basement swimming pool. The excavation work needed to be done to build the pool is of grave concern to Page who feels his 1875 Grade I-listed mansion might get damaged.

A letter ”“ signed by a certain “Johnny” ”“ stated that Williams has been annoying his neighbor by playing Black Sabbath songs loudly. The letter was sent to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea council. It also stated that Williams has played Deep Purple and Pink Floyd tracks at loud decibels, knowing “this upsets” the Led Zeppelin guitarist.

The correspondent adds that Williams has also dressed up to imitate Led Zeppelin’s frontman Robert Plant by “wearing a long hair wig, and stuffing a pillow under his shirt in an attempt to mock or imitate Mr Robert Plant’s beer belly that he has acquired in his older age.” This is “embarrassing”, the letter continues, because “Mr Plant was remembered for performing with his shirt open on stage, and obviously he cannot perform in his current condition.”

According to The Telegraph, a spokesman for Williams said the claims in the complaint were “a complete fabrication and nonsense.”
