Goddess Gagged frontman Siddharth Basrur is currently working on his debut solo album with producer Ayan De at Midicore Studios in Mumbai. Basrur told us that his album will have a sound that’s very different from that of his alt metal band, Goddess Gagged. According to Basrur, “This is more simple whereas Goddess Gagged is more heavy and technical. I wrote all the songs on an acoustic guitar.” The singer also mentioned the possibility of adding horn and orchestral sections.

Describing the sound of the new album as alternative rock, Basrur tells us that he has just finished pre-production on the album and it looks like the final cut will probably include 10-12 songs. “I have big plans for the album and hopefully it’ll turn out the way I’m hearing it in my head,” says Basrur.
