Bengaluru post-rock/space rock band Space Behind The Yellow Room.

Formed in 2012, Space Behind The Yellow Room is a post-rock/space rock band from Bengaluru. This four-piece set up consists of Shoumik Biswas (Drums/Vocals), Devasheesh Sharma (Guitar), Nihar Apte (Guitar/Vocals) and Tushar Ganguly (Bass). Their music does not abide by the usual conventions as they utilize minimal amounts of vocals and focus more on creating a rock-based psychedelic sound. The band has performed at venues such as Kino 108 in Mumbai, Jamsteady in Kolkata and Bak Bak Bar in Bengaluru, among others. The band has released several singles online and is producing an album comprising these singles. Their influences include Israeli electronica duo Infected Mushroom, American rock band 30 Seconds To Mars and English indie rock band Bombay Bicycle Club.
