Systemhouse33 Launch New Album, Plot U.S. Tour
The Mumbai thrash metallers’ fifth album ‘Regression’ features eight groove-heavy tracks; band wants to focus on international gigs
Guitarist-vocalist Samron Jude still can’t stop gushing about his band Systemhouse33’s debut international sojourn, playing a 10-date Europe tour in December supporting American death metal band Six Feet Under. The frontman says, “Europe was a life-changing experience. It changes how you think about being in a band and making music.”
Regression, which released on January 31st, is the band’s fifth album and a scale up in terms of production value and songwriting, featuring eight polished thrash metal tracks with guitar grooves to bob along to. With the lead single “Detestable Idolatry” released a couple of weeks ago, Systemhouse33 are launching the album at the second edition of Pune gig series Reverse Scenario on February 21st at Classic Rock Coffee Co. Jude adds, “There’s a lot of hype for this gig and we’re really excited to play in Pune. There’s a 45-minute set time and we’re playing the entire album, just like we did on our Europe tour.” The band is sharing space with the likes of Mumbai metallers Bhayanak Maut
