After their rousing, charged-up original track “Jee Veerey,” Bloodywood go from strength to strength with their second single “Endurant.” Also featuring rap from New Delhi hip-hop artist Raoul Kerr and guitarist-producer Karan Katiyar leading with a flute hook, “Endurant” ramps up the chaos more than before, retaining the emotive lyrical content and delivery.

The song deals with bullying, with the video showing the timeline of two kids ”“ an abuser and his victim ”“ who grow up as very different adults. Vocalist Jayant Bhadula tells us, “We started writing this song from October but with every step we started developing new things that led to the creation of what we presented, a lot of blood and sweat in this song, we wanted to give out the purest form of our emotion and do justice to the music.” The singer adds that they intentionally stuck to the same sonic palette as “Jee Veerey” since the tracks will all become part of their upcoming debut EP, due later this year.

In addition to releases, 2019 will also mark more live shows for Bloodywood, although the metallers remain tight-lipped about it. “I cannot make a statement officially about the status of the shows right now but all I can say is hopefully,” Bhadula says.
