“Million Reasons” then cuts to a shot of Gaga in the backseat of a car en route to her performance. People dress her and do her make-up as she looks longingly into the dressing room mirror. Shots of Gaga filming a video and getting photographed on a sound stage in her requisite Joanne garb (pink cowboy hat and suit) play like a montage. It’s revealed that Gaga’s friends were the ones who came to rescue her in the desert. Later, Gaga opens a present that comes with a card signed “Love you sis.” She pulls out a rosary and begins to cry.
Gaga’s fifth studio album, Joanne, debuted at Number One upon its October release. It features writing contributions by Mark Ronson, Josh Homme, Beck, Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and Father John Misty.
