10 Must-Read Horror Webtoons

Features snackable sinister tales of tension and terror such as ‘Not Even Bones,’ ‘Tales of the Unusual,’ ‘Everything is Fine,’ and more

Published by

The apocalyptic Sweet Home and the K-zombie All of Us Are Dead, based on webtoons of the same names, have been among the best and most hit horror K-dramas lately. Through every episode, they are twisting labyrinths, yielding chilling glimpses of unfathomable horror akin to the webtoons that display malicious sequences of primal gore through excellent illustrations. If you haven’t read them still, go for it, and also try the 10 horror webtoons listed below.

Not Even Bones – R Schaeffer, Starpiper

An intricate sinister tale of tension and terror you traverse effortlessly for a more engaging experience. It has Nita, whose mother hunts the occult and trades their body parts. Nita exclusively dismembers the corpses in aid. At this point, she can’t turn back on experiencing the family business firsthand; it’s weighing heavily on her decision: to turn evil or not.

Tales of the Unusual – Sungdae Oh

This all-encompassing omnibus webtoon series—boasts intrigue and narrative twists via eerie modern folklore and scary classic tales where our whims and desires show up in strange ways.

Everything is Fine – Mike Birchall

Everything here is not fine, unlike the title. A picturesque and tranquil neighborhood is the home of Sam and Maggie, a man and woman we meet, together with their dog Winston. The couple are normal, albeit their big cat heads for reasons remaining unknown. As you read on, you uncover that Winston died a while ago and that there are security cameras planted outside. Given the intense monitoring, the pair must maintain their normal behavior to avert imminent risks.

Surviving Romance – Lee Yone

It brings in thrills, fusing romance and horror, that progressively intensify when Chaerin Eun becomes the female lead in the romance novel she is reading. She yearns for a happy life with Jeha, her lover in the book, but in a twist of things, what’s happening contradicts the written work. So, Chaerin enlists the help of an odd classmate to offset the altered plot and find fulfillment.

Ghost Teller – QTT

A collection of five-part horror anthology stories—Ghost Teller—is told by ghosts congregated around a table to exchange narratives on a variety of human-caused horrific scenarios. They are grim tales of dread and irony that will stun you in stages, revealing how vile and heinous humans tend to be at times.

#KillstagramRyoung

This webtoon is distinct in its jump scares thanks to its ingenious narration and graphics.

#Killstagram’s first season, Serial Killing by Hashtag, stars Remi Do, a young, gorgeous social media influencer with a substantial following. However, she is being stalked by a serial killer, tracking her every move.

The second season, dubbed Ghost Killing Game, draws upon a lethal game whereby thirteen participants must locate a shadowy killer while dodging its deadly blows.

Uriah – Toffuo

A forgotten memory and being marooned on an enigmatic island greet Uriah upon his awakening. He is currently only aware of the fleeting flashes of suffering he has undergone, hinting at an atrocious past. For him to thrive in this strange, unfamiliar setting and unlock facts, Uriah must regain equilibrium. His journey is dark, bloody, and highly complex, yet at best it serves to heighten the tension and intricacy of this horror piece. I suggest reading it.

GremoryLand – A.Rasen

Panic abounds, setting off a surge of fear in this snackable fiction of six friends visiting GremoryLand, a brand-new horror amusement park that guarantees a one-of-a-kind adventure. Once it begins, though, there’s no returning for them; they are on the toughest path, facing their worst fears to make it through.

Melvina’s Therapy – A.Rasen

The titular Melvina is a cryptic, savage therapist whose clients have a predisposition to descend to tragedy while endeavoring past wounds—or, more fundamentally, the unsettling secrets that have survived in the deepest recesses of their thoughts.
