Bowen Yang

Although he wasn’t nominated in his own right on Sunday night, Bowen Yang showed up and showed out on the 2025 Oscars red carpet in a light pink button-down shirt with ruffles and a shiny black suit jacket decorated with floral embroideries. Yang appeared in Wicked, playing one of Glinda’s (Ariana Grande) best friends, which is nominated for 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture tonight.

Ariana Grande, whose performance as Glinda earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 2025 Oscars, floated on the red carpet in a light pink gown. Jeff Goldblum

Cynthia Erivo

Nominated for Best Actress on Sunday, Cynthia Erivo showed up to the Oscars red carpet continuing to honor the Wicked theme in a deep green velvet gown. Erivo’s structured, floor-length dress with its bold shoulders perfectly suited her character, Elphaba, and made it look as if she’s on her way to take over Emerald City. Of course, it wouldn’t be a signature Erivo fashion moment without dramatic nails and a collection of gorgeous rings and earrings.

Omar Apollo

Omar Apollo is channeling the theatrics of tonight’s most dramatic nominated films. The musician, who made his acting debut in Luca Guadagnino’s Queer, arrived on the carpet with rosy cheeks and dark eyes peeking out from beneath a black birdcage veil. The headpiece serves as the centerpiece of the outfit, complete with a sleek black suit — adorned with a quaint lizard brooch — paired with a cream polka-dot scarf styled as a tie to match his black polka-dot dress shirt.

Elle Fanning

Elle Fanning embodied Sylvie Russo in A Complete Unknown, nominated for eight awards tonight, with a wardrobe of cool fits as Timotheé Chalamet’s Bob Dylan drove her mad. But for the Oscars, she opted for princess-like glamour in a white lace gown with a contrasting black bow across her waistline. With her hair pinned up, her neckline glistened with a scalloped diamond necklace, a true reflection of the music royalty Russo almost was.

Mindy Kaling

Mindy Kaling dazzled on the Oscars red carpet on Sunday. Adorned head to toe in silver, Kaling — who’s recently spent more time behind the scenes producing shows such as The Sex Lives of College Girls and Running Point rather than being in front of the camera — walked the red carpet in a mock neck, fluttery gown, accessorized with silver rings and chandelier earrings.

Zoe Saldaña

In Emilia Peréz, the most nominated film of the night, Zoe Saldaña delivers a pivotal musical number in a deep red Saint Laurent suit. The Best Supporting Actress nominee arrived to the Academy Awards red carpet in a three-tiered Saint Laurent gown evoking the same striking color. For an added edge, the dress features a glimmering, netted bandeau and black mesh gloves.

Lupita Nyong’o

Lupita Nyong’o has become red carpet royalty in the decade since she won her first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Though she isn’t nominated tonight, this year is no different. The actress walked the red carpet in a pleated, soft cream Chanel gown. The top of the dress is adorned with the brand’s signature pearls and a glamorous, pearlescent corset with a dainty bow around her waist.

Demi Moore

Demi Moore looks stunning at tonight’s Academy Awards, and she didn’t even have to take The Substance. Nominated for Best Actress at tonight’s ceremony, Moore is wearing a silver gown custom designed by Armani Privé. The stone-like looking dress features a deep cut neckline and ruching around the waist, all highlighting the intricate beading covering every inch of the fabric down to its pooled train.

Selena Gomez

Elegant as ever in a shimmering custom Ralph Lauren gown, Selena Gomez graced the Oscars red carpet exuding an Old Hollywood aura. Gomez co-stars in the controversial Emilia Pérez, which earned 13 nominations. Per Vogue, the actress’ off-the-shoulder dress included more than 16,000 glass droplets and crystals that were also airbrushed to appear pink ombré in color. She completed the look with a diamond collar necklace, rings, and earrings.

Timothée Chalamet

Timothée Chalamet pulled up to the Oscars just as he has every other award show this season: smooth like butter. He kept it light with a custom Givenchy yellow leather suit paired with a matching yellow dress shirt and a small pearl collar pin. They say to dress for the job you want — and Chalamet sure is dressed like he’s channeling an Oscars trophy. Nominated for Best Actor for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, he would be the youngest-ever winner in the category if he secures the win.
