Dualist Inquiry is the creation and solo project of Sahej Bakshi. Starting out in February 2010, the electronica artist incorporates guitar-based rock along with his beats, which makes him stand out in today’s EDM scene. Bakshi’s debut EP, Dualism, was released in June 2011 under the New Delhi-based record label, Ashram Records. Bakshi set up his own record label, Dualism Records, for his debut full-length album, Doppelganger in March 2013. Bakshi also released a number of bootleg remixes in 2011, including his version of Bengaluru folk rock band Swarathma’s “Naane Daari.” Apart from playing large-scale festivals across the country, Bakshi has also opened for British trip-hop and acid house DJ, Fatboy Slim, in New Delhi and was chosen to support French House DJ David Guetta at the Eristoff Invasion Festival in Delhi in 2012.
