From paint blasts and a flea market to a stellar lineup
On November 18th, New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium is set to host the Indian debut edition of the world’s largest paint party; EDM festival Life In Color. With neon paints, stilt walkers and contortionists on show, here are four things to look forward to at the day long event.
1. Stellar lineup
One of the main reasons for attending any music festival is making sure that the lineup meets your expectations. Life In Color have pulled out all stops in putting American star DJ Diplo, New York-based producer 4B, rapper Divine, Pune electronica artist Ritviz and Mumbai drum & bass performer Smokey on the same stage.Â
2. Paint blasts
As the name of the fest suggests – there will be a lot of color. To put a number to it, there’s approximately 1,90,000 liters of paint sprayed onto attendees from the stage with the help of water cannons. For those who wish not to be smothered in paint – rest assured as there will be safe zones to shield you from the paint. Â
3. Aerial acts, graffiti and more
Get ready to be enthralled by exhilarating performances from aerial acts pulling out Cirque Du Soleil-esque performances, stilt walkers, contortionists, fire shows etc. For graffiti lovers, Â a paint wall will be set up to showcase your skills on a wide-open canvas.
4. Flea Market and food
Away from the music, don’t forget to check out the festival’s flea market which includes accessory stalls, party props and a food court.
