From performances to workshops and panel discussions, the music conference has tons of options for everyone

Although it’s the newest music conference on the block, BUDx has made sure to pull out all the stops for its debut edition which takes place from December 6th to December 8th in New Delhi. From Indian and international industry biggies taking part in panel discussions and hosting master classes to workshops and live performances, here are seven things you can’t miss at the three-day event.
1. Boxout Soundystem Showcase and Journey Conversation: Day one will see DJ MoCity, Dualist Inquiry and Rohan Kale discuss their artistry as well as put up exclusive performances.
2. 1 x 1: Origin Stories: Producer Arjun Vagale and journalist Kenneth Lobo ((RBMA, DJ Mag) will discuss Vagale’s rise in the indie music industry.
3. DJ School: Pioneer DJ producers Skip and Mash sink into technical detail on day two while veteran producer DJ Uri details the tricks of the trade on day three.
4. Future of Indian Club Culture Panel: A globe-spanning cast of voices including Gaurav Malaker aka BLOT!, Alberto Nerone (Mutek), Chal Ravens (FACT, Pitchfork, The Wire), Sarah Chawla (Magnetic Fields) and Lobo will come together to discuss the future of live electronic music in the country.
5. Art of Management & Discovery in Music Panel: Rolling Stone India Executive Editor Nirmika Singh, KRUNK founder Sohail Arora, SAAVN’s Srikanth Seshadari and Social’s business head Mayank Bhatt explain the process of finding new artists in indie music and live performance spaces.
6. Live shows: BUDx will feature genre-expansive sets from several Indian electronic producers including Zokhuma, Profound, Corridors, BLOT!, Malfunktion and more.
7. Boiler Room Parties: London-based DJs Dillinja and Mumdance will play alongside Indian electronica producer Lifafa on December 7th while on December 8th BUDx will close with a Detroit-to-Delhi showcase featuring Omar S, Marcellus Pittmann and Indian producers FILM and Kini Rao.
