Airport

Airport is a five-piece Mumbai-based Hindi pop-rock outfit formed in December 2009. The project of singer-songwriter Arijit Datta, Airport employs Vinay Lobo (The Vinyls, Nikhil D’Souza) on guitar, Zohran Miranda on guitar, Varun Venkit on drums and Amit Ahuja (Sridhar/Thayil) on bass. Jonathan Paul joins the band on keys occasionally. The earlier lineup featured Sidd Coutto (Helga’s Fun Castle, Zero, Tough on Tobacco) on drums. Their musical influences range from Mohd.Rafi to Radiohead.
