The show will feature performances from prominent Asian acts like Jackson Wang, MINO, Woosung, Seori, Stephanie Poetri and more
Earlier today, Asian music and media company 88rising announced a brand new festival titled ‘Double Happiness’ to celebrate the Year of the Tiger. Set to take place on February 4th, the digital show will be streamed live across the globe via Facebook, YouTube and 88rising Radio on SiriusXM (Ch 305.)
‘Double Happiness’ will feature Chinese superstar and GOT7 member Jackson Wang as headliner and exclusive sets from several Asian artists around the world. The lineup includes Winner’s MINO, The Rose’s Woosung, Audrey Nuna, Stephanie Poetri, Warren Hue, Seori, MILLI, Adawa, Alex Porat, Mỹ Anh, Shayiting EL, Youngohm, and Yuzhen. The digital festival follows 88rising’s previous benefit livestream shows, ‘Asia Rising Forever’ (2020) and ‘Asia Rising Together’ (2021), both of which were globally successful. According to 88rising, donations from the ‘Double Happiness’ livestream will support Asian Mental Health Collective which collaborates with mental health professionals and organizations.
88rising is also known for producing the annual music festival ‘Head In The Clouds,’ a two-day event which sees artists across the Asian diaspora performing for a live audience. The 2022 edition took place in November in California and saw performances from CL, DPR, Tiger JK, BIBI, Joji, Rich Brian and many more. The company is also set to present a live experience at Coachella 2022 titled ‘Head In The Clouds Forever.’
‘Double Happiness’ will take place on February 4th at 7 PM PST (February 5th, 8:30 AM IST.)
