Day 2”“ November 3rd
Trilok Gurtu ”“ 7.00-7.50pm ”“ The Dewarists
The Germany-based master tabla player and multi percussionist went indie and conquered the West with his musical innovations four decades ago. We’ve had the opportunity to watch Gurtu in concert in the early 2000s at the now defunct Mumbai discotheque Fire N Ice, delivering a memorable set that included the likes of ghazal singer Roop Kumar Rathod. With an enviable discography and star collaborations that could fill an entire book, Gurtu’s genius knows no limits.
Bombay Metal Project ”“ 7.40-8.50pm ”“ Bacardi Black Rock Arena
Fifteen metallers including band members of Scribe, Bhayanak Maut, Pangea, Zygnema, Goddess Gagged, ViceVersa, Indus Creed and Cosmic Infusion will cover tracks that have shaped their life and times as a musician.

Karsh Kale Collectiv – 8.10-9.00 pm ”“ The Dewarists
If the producer and multi instrumentalist, who is currently in the US, makes it to the festival despite the hurricane, you can expect The Karsh Kale Collectiv to celebrate on stage. The Collectiv includes Benny Dayal, Shilpa Rao and Monali Thakur on vocals, Johan Pais on bass, Jai Row Kavi on drums, Jitter on samples and Warren ”˜Blackstratblues’ Mendonsa on guitar.
The Supersonics ”“ 9.00-10pm ”“ Fully Fantastic Stage
The four-member Kolkata band’s reunion was cheered as one of the most-awaited happenings of the Indian music scene this year. “We are like roaring beasts waiting to be let out of cages,” said Ananda Sen ahead of their reunion tour earlier this year. Trust us, they’ve come unhinged at every gig we’ve attended. Expect new material and [hopefully] all their old hits off their debut album Maby Baking.
