Watch Lollapalooza 2016’s Live Broadcast
Catch Lana Del Rey, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Major Lazer and more performing live at the Chicago-based music festival
Iconic American music festival Lollapalooza is set celebrate its 25th anniversary this year by adding one extra day for the first time and broadcasting its live performances across the world. The Chicago-based fest- in association with Red Bull TV- will provide two livestreams with multiple channels for viewers to enjoy a festival experience right at home.
The livestream will cover all eight stages at Lollapalooza to allow viewers to watch as many artists in the lineup as possible. In addition to the live performances, the broadcast will feature exclusive backstage artist interviews, memorable moments from the past 25 years of Lollapalooza and live explorations of the festival grounds.
Lollapalooza begins streaming at 4:30am Indian Standard Time [IST] on July 29th 2016 and will continue through the weekend till August 1st, 2016. With American experimental rock band Yeasayer starting the online show, day one of the festival will also see performances by English alt-rockers The 1975, American rapper J. Cole and indie pop queen Lana Del Rey.
Radiohead, EDM super group Major Lazer and French electronic act M83 will be headlining on day two, while day three of Lollapallooza will feature the Red Hot Chili Peppers, electronic duo Disclosure and EDM pioneer Hardwell amongst the lineup. Day four is set to include American singer-songwriter Halsey, punk rockers LCD Soundsystem and English synthpop-princess Ellie Goulding for the grand finale.
