Kim Seon-ho returns following his stint in When Life Gives You Tangerines, with multiple projects lined up. Here’s what’s next for this talented Korean heartthrob.

Headlining his upcoming projects is the Netflix original, Can This Love Be Translated, starring Kim Seon-ho alongside Go Youn-jung. The plot follows Ju Ho-jin (Kim), a talented interpreter who starts working for Cha Mu-hee (Go), a famous actress. Their opposing views on love and life clash in the process, as Ho-jin finds himself entangled in Mu-hee’s charming chaos. Their story unfolds with humor, warmth, and heartfelt moments as they navigate their differences and learn to understand each other. The romantic comedy, directed by Yoo Young-eun and scripted by the Hong sisters, is scheduled for release in December, though the official release date has not yet been confirmed.

Next up is Delusion, a dark and twisted tale that spans two distinct timelines — Gyeongseong in 1935 and Shanghai in the 1800s. The period drama is a mix of art, mystery, and the supernatural, all coming together when a deft painter meets an enigmatic woman. Kim Seon-ho’s Yun Il-ho, a renowned painter, is commissioned to paint a portrait of Bae Suzy’s Song Jeong-hwa. She’s a ravishing beauty, but shrouded in mystery. In reality, Jeong-hwa is a vampire whose hypnotic presence makes it impossible for Il-ho to resist her charms. He soon finds himself helplessly swept up in a romance that’s as intoxicating as it is dangerous. Written and directed by Han Jae-rim, Delusion is a live-action adaptation of the popular webtoon of the same name by Hongjacga and will premiere on Disney+ next year.

Rounding out the list is Unfriend (also known as In the Net), a thriller series based on Chan Ho-kei’s crime novel Second Sister. The story follows Ai (Park Gyu-young), who’s reeling from her younger sister’s tragic death. The girl died by suicide after experiencing nasty bullying online, leaving Ai shocked, but all the more determined to know the truth. In her quest for answers, Ai encounters and teams up with N (Kim Seon-ho), a mysterious hacker with his own secrets. As they dig deeper, they’re pulled into the disturbing world of online brutality and deception. Written by Joo Won-gyu and co-directed by Kim Jee-woon and Park Bo-ram, Unfriend is expected to be released this year, though an official release date is yet to be announced.
