Kicks off mini-tour as the band's frontman
Adam Lambert kicked off his long-awaited mini-tour with Queen last night, serving as frontman for the band at Independence Square in Kiev, Ukraine. They performed a two-hour set in the Euro 2012 fan zone as part of joint concert with Elton John to benefit the Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation. Lambert, who first performed with Queen as a contestant on American Idol and joined them for several songs at the 2011 MTV European Music Awards, had planned to perform with his idols at the U.K. Sonisphere Festival before the event was canceled in March. The pairing head next to Russia for a July 3rd concert at the Olympic Arena in Moscow.Â
