“A true collection of my proudest work yet. My dream cover. My dream collaborators,” singer says of album out June 6

Addison Rae has revealed the title and album cover for her debut LP, Addison, due out June 6, as the singer announced at Coachella earlier this month.

“Self-titled debut album!!!!,” Rae wrote on social media while revealing the album cover. “I love the entirety of this project with all of me. A mirror. A deep desperation and desire to understand myself better. A true collection of my proudest work yet. My dream cover. My dream collaborators.”

While Rae did not share the track list or name any “dream collaborators,” the preorder page for Addison revealed some additional details:  Addison — which is described as “the first & last album by Addison Rae” — will feature 12 tracks, all co-written and produced by Rae, Luka Kloser, and Elvira Anderfjärd.

Four of the 12 songs are singles that Rae has released over the past year: “Diet Pepsi,” “High Fashion,” “Aquamarine,” and her latest track, “Headphones On.”

Rae spoke to Rolling Stone earlier this year and shared that she worked with songwriters Kloser and Anderfjärd, who are signed to Max Martin’s publishing company, MxM Music, to produce the album. “Luka started playing the piano, and then literally, it was like magic,” Rae said at the time about making “Diet Pepsi.”

She also talked about her musical journey, sharing details about a pivotal label meeting that got her signed.

“I walked in with a binder, and I made a slideshow,” Rae said. The presentation was full of pictures and word clouds that she felt represented who she would be as a performer. “I just mood-boarded my vibes. I literally had no music to play him at that point, so it was about trust. Like, ‘Yes, I’m in the clouds, and I enjoy being there. But I’m also serious.’”
