After hosting two virtual editions in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, music conference All About Music is now back on the ground for its sixth edition, which is set to be hosted at Taj Lands End in Mumbai from September 20th to 22nd. The three-day event will include curated keynotes, panels, workshops, artist showcases, masterclasses and success stories along with opportunities to network and pitch ideas. The 2022 meetup’s main focus is on the creator economy and the impact of Indian and global music.
This year’s attendees will be treated to a variety of topics from speakers such as Guy Moot (Co-Chair and Chief Executive Officer at Warner Chappell Music), Megha Balanim (Director, Strategy and Development at Global Music Institute) who’ll discuss the potential of music education in India, and Hrishikesh Kannan (National Brand Head of RadioOne) talking about his journey from being a music jockey to helming a radio channel.
The schedule at All About Music also includes the likes of artists such as Armaan Malik, Prateek Kuhad, Osho Jain and BLOT!, musician and educator Nush Lewis (founder of Offset Education), and Shilpa Sharda (Director Artist Services and Development at Believe), who are among the various names in Indian and global music at the conference. In addition to hosting live performances for the first time at All About Music, the event will also address the Web3 revolution and feature speakers such as illustrator Santanu Hazarika, who will offer a creator’s perspective on grasping NFTs and the metaverse.
In a statement, Ashish Jose (Business Head at Create and Collab) said, “The purpose of All About Music is to create space for conversations and interactions that amplify the voices of key stakeholders who are bright spots within the music industry. We do this because we believe that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and that when we invest in the time to listen, ask, share and learn, we grow together.”
