All(H)Ours Unveils Strong Ambitions in ‘Witness’ Mini-Album

‘Witness,’ for the most part, embodies All(H)Ours’ maturation as artists and their willingness to take chances to scale newer creative heights

All(H)Ours, said to be the first K-pop idol group to debut this year, is back with fresh music in Witness, their second mini-album, and it’s out six months after their first, All Ours.

Witness unveils the strong ambitions of this rookie boy group and charts its growth since it first broke into the big picture of K-pop. Under the aegis of Eden Entertainment, the seven-piece act of Kunho, Youmin, Xayden, Minje, Masami, Hyunbin, and On:N aims to consistently give their utmost in everything they do, reflecting All(H)Ours, a cross between “all ours” and “all hours” that underpins their artistic vision.

The album features five tracks: “Witness,” the title track “도깨비 (Shock),” “Psycho Mantra,” “Bout That Issue,” and “Blah Blah” and all in all speak to the desire of All(H)Ours to have listeners be witnesses to its journey, while engaging in its music, glimmering with sophisticated choreography and dynamic performances.

The uplifting instrumental album opener “Witness” defines the mood for the entire record, showcasing the septet’s expansive and diverse approach to both music and performance, complemented by its ardent passion for discovering new lyrical themes and music genres.

The electrifying lead single “도깨비(Shock)” has All(H)Ours’ flexibility and engaging stage presence, blending elements of Drift Phonk and K-pop. With over a million views already, its accompanying music video cements All(H)Ours as a rising star. The members’ absorbing and unleashing of immense energy is apparent in how they deliver the song—its cinematic visuals and intricate, vigorous choreography, underscoring strength and synchronicity.

The band members wrote the closing track, “Blah Blah,” as a word of encouragement for their fans, Min(ut)e. As the lead character of your personal story, it’s about adhering to your sense of value and not giving an inch about what people think or say.

Witness, for the most part, embodies All(H)Ours’ maturation as artists and their willingness to take chances to scale newer creative heights. The album’s genuine drive to engage listeners on a more fundamental level while inspiring them to embrace their dreams and goals is what fuels the thematic richness of the record. Witness hopes to strengthen the band’s closeness to its audience through its powerful songs and lyrics, reinforcing the image of All(H)Ours as a collective truly invested in the experiences and insights of its fans and listeners.

Rounding off the essence of the album, Kunho states in its press release, “The audience will witness another perspective of All(H)Ours through our second mini-album, Witness […] The main difference from our first mini-album, All Ours, is that in Witness, we will be expressing our ambition in a rough way, with the strong ambition of a rookie group. As the lyrics from our song ‘Blah Blah,’ All(H)Ours is incomparable. We will make a new wave with Witness. We hope the audience enjoys our album as much as we do.”
