Hear Hyderabad Producer Alpha Hex’s Shimmering Bass Offering ‘Fall With Me’
Siddarth Ponangi teams up with San Diego-based EDM/pop artist Faithroze aka Carleigh Begin

Following his debut on U.K. electronic label Elysian Records in February with “Empty Streets,” teenaged producer Alpha Hex aka Siddarth Ponangi levels up with his bass-heavy track “Fall With Me” on New York’s well-followed label Magic Records.
Featuring San Diego-based singer Faithroze aka Carleigh Begin, “Fall With Me” is Alpha Hex’s seventh single since Ponangi started the project in 2019. As it turns out, the 18-year-old began producing music in 2017 as an adolescent who’d been toying around with digital audio workstation F.L. Studio. “I have been playing the piano/electronic keyboard since 2013, graduated till Grade 4 from Trinity Music College, London in electronic keyboard but later had to discontinue because of high school,” he adds.
While the electronic music space in India and globally might be a crowded one, Ponangi has managed to get his foot in the door with ethereal and moody music which still sticks to EDM’s strongest production and songwriting techniques. He’s worked with vocalists and producers from the U.K. and the U.S. on previous material and was introduced to Faithroze on Instagram through a mutual friend. “When I sent her the track, she instantly fell in love with the vibe, and started writing to it. I previously named the track ‘Fall With Me’ before sending her the track, ‘cuz that was the story I wanted to tell through it and Faithroze absolutely nailed it carrying the vibe from there,” the producer adds.
The song makes its way through Faithroze’s well-pitched refrains, as she sings about falling for someone and then wondering if they would reciprocate. Ponangi says, “It’s a story we’ve all lived through once or twice.” With Alpha Hex now a firmly established project for Ponangi, he wants to continue global collaborations and represent India in electronic music worldwide. “I’m looking forward to continue working on my sound, signing with more labels and getting my name out there,” he says.
