Amazon has turned up the notch on its offerings for the sale season. In the run-up to its two-day annual online shopping event Prime Day which kick starts on July 15th, the online giant has put together a star-studded lineup of artists for the Amazon Prime Day Concert.
The show will be headlined by pop icon Taylor Swift and will feature performances by English singer Dua Lipa, R&B singer-songwriter SZA and Latin pop star Becky G. The all-girl line up is sure to pack a punch and they will be joined by American actress Jane Lynch who will be hosting the show.
The Amazon Prime concert will stream live from New York on Friday, July 11th, at 6:30 am IST. It will be webcast live in more than 200 countries including India.
“Prime Day brings members the best of both entertainment and shopping. To celebrate, we’ve curated a lineup across multiple genres with performances from artists our customers love. We’re looking forward to celebrating Prime Day with this can’t-miss, one-of-a-kind event,” says Amazon Music VP Steve Boom.
Post the show, Prime members will be able to stream the concert (select songs from each performance) on-demand for a limited period of time on Prime Video. Members can also expect to see previews of upcoming Prime Video releases including clips from the new season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and stand-up comedy specials.
