Murphy’s Law Three stars Independent release Key tracks: ‘The Vibe,’ ‘Anger Management’
If you are looking for that one Indian band that has it all, look no further. Another Vertigo Rush ”“ popularly known as AVR ”“ have stepped out of the shadows to put together a fantastic ten-track album and they aren’t holding back. Offering the whole album as a free download via their MySpace page ”“ and every other public forum possible ”“ the band is giving fans a chance to own a copy of their debut album, Murphy’s Law. Not fitting into a specific genre, the band claims to be “experimental-psychedelic-post rock-alternative-metal.” But, they also do mention that they would “just like to remain within the confines of the experimental/psychedelic definition.” Pushing ”˜Om’ as the song that defines the band, it’s no surprise that it was nominated in the Best Rock Song category at the AVIMA 2009. Each and every song is powerfully composed, but what you cannot ignore is the drumming courtesy of Akshat Nauriyal. ”˜Anger Management’ serves up four and a half minutes of nirvana, while ”˜Drop’ and ”˜The Vibe’ start the party off with a bang, leaving you speechless as you proceed through the rest of the album. Akshat Nauriyal, Nikhil Rufus Raj, Akhil Sood and Viraj Mohan have proved their worth on this record and there’s no stopping them now.
