Anyasa Drops ‘Closure’ Ahead of India and U.S. Shows
The pulsating song, featuring vocals by British artist Luke Coulson, is released via Anjunadeep
Goa-origin mainstay electronic artist Anyasa aka Anish Sood’s new song “Closure” leads with an atmospheric, dancefloor journey, arriving ahead of shows across India and the U.S. in April and May.
Released with internationally leading label Anjunadeep – founded by the electronic act Above & Beyond – “Closure” marks a continuing association between Anyasa and the label. Since Anyasa’s debut in 2021 with the song “Rasiya” featuring vocalist Isheeta Chakrvarty, his three EPs Gaya (2021), Athena (2022) and Apollo (2023) have earned a global and Indian audience via Anjunadeep.
With the soul-searching, emphatic and ethereal “Closure,” Anyasa taps British artist Luke Coulson (who goes by his last name as an artist). A press release adds, “The single marks a new beginning for Anyasa with English vocals featuring British singer Luke Coulson and promises to deliver Anyasa’s signature style, characterized by intricate soundscapes and deeply emotional resonance.”
The song comes just as Anyasa is finishing off India commitments in terms of touring and then heading off to the U.S., Singapore and Malaysia in May and June. The DJ-producer’s summer tour started at Anjunadeep Open Air in Savaya, Bali on April 21st and will be followed by a set at gig series Rage by the Bay on May 4th at Bayview Lawns in Mumbai, alongside the likes of Nikhil Chinapa, Farside, Cruz, Simsim and others. With one last India stop on May 18th in Sunburn Union club in Bengaluru, Anyasa’s tour rolls into the U.S., with stops at Station 1640 in Los Angeles (May 22nd), Bang Bang in San Diego (May 24th), and the Ubbi Dubbi Festival in Dallas (May 25th).
In June, Anyasa travels onwards to a double header at the annual Anjunadeep Explorations 2024 on June 17th and 18th in Dhërmi, Albania along with dates at Iron Fairies in Kuala Lumpur and Tuff Club in Singapore in July.
On the release front, Anyasa is also prepping to release a yet-to-be-announced remix project next.
