Actor and singer Aparshakti Khurana finds love at a family wedding in the celebratory music video for his new song “Sohna Mukhda,” made with composer Rochak Kohli, lyricist Gurpreet Saini and featuring actor Anupama Parameswaram as Khurana’s love interest.

The first release of the year from Khurana, “Sohna Mukhda” comes across as a breezy, playful wedding song, complete with lyrical references to how he can become a chauffeur to woo his beloved. The song si released via major label T-Series.

Khurana says in a statement, “My last song with T-Series ‘Kudiye Ni’ was received really well by the audience! Looking for a similar response on ‘Sohna Mukhda; as well! Rochak, Gurpreet and I have worked really hard on this and Anupama is looking beautiful in the video courtesy Jigar and Dhruval (the directors) hence pretty much all the boxes are ticked! Now me and the entire T-Series team is just keeping our fingers crossed!”

Intended to be included in as many wedding playlists as possible – considering it is peak wedding season in India – Khurana has been balancing releasing music alongside his film work. On the acting front, in 2024, Khurana starred in the acclaimed spy thriller movie Berlin and played the character of Bittu in comedy horror movie Stree 2. In 2025, Khurana will be seen next in family drama Badtameez Gill alongside Paresh Rawal and Vaani Kapoor, and will also feature in the documentary Finding Ram.
