The British metalcore band makes their debut in India in January 2014
UK metalcore band Architects is confirmed to headline Rock Show, IIT Madras’s annual live concert as part of the cultural festival Saarang, in 2014. The band, comprising vocalist Sean Carter, bassist Alex Dean and brothers Tom (guitars) and Dan (drums) Searle, will play their debut gig in India on January 11th, 2014.
IIT Madras’s Rock Show hosted performances by British prog rock band Anathema this year, Swedish djent band Vildhjarta in 2012, and Swedish prog metal bands such as Pain of Salvation in 2011 and Opeth in 2009.
Formed in 2004, Architects have released five albums, gaining popularity with Hollow Crown in 2009. After releasing Daybreaker in 2012, Architects have released a documentary on their world tour, titled One Hundred Days, which the band produced via crowdfunding earlier this year.
