Beloved Bollywood hitmaker will travel to all the major cities between November 2024 and April 2025
India’s gig calendar gets another star addition, with hitmaker Arijit Singh announcing a five-city tour of Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi and Chennai between Nov. 30, 2024 and Apr. 27, 2025. Tickets for Bengaluru and Hyderabad go on sale from today, Oct. 21, 2024.
The large-scale shows kick off in Bengaluru on Nov. 30, 2024, followed by Hyderabad on Dec. 7, 2024, and in the new year, Singh stops by for performances in Delhi NCR on Feb. 2nd, 2025 and in Mumbai on March 23, 2025. The final stop on the tour is scheduled for Chennai on Apr. 27, 2025.
The tour is curated and promoted by entertainment platform Insider.in, alongside FeverLive and production partner Hyperlink Brand Solutions and is presented by HSBC.
Singh says in a statement about his upcoming shows, “I am thrilled to be back on tour, there is nothing like performing live on stage and witnessing the love and joy of so many people. I am eager to see the audience’s reactions to this new setlist — we have specially reworked almost every track, including the hits, to bring something fresh to the stage. The compositions will differ from released versions, and I have a few surprises lined up for the audience, too!”
According to Insider.in, Arijit Singh’s tour ticket prices range from ₹2, 000 to ₹80,000 across various categories. Tickets for Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai will follow soon after the sale of Bengaluru and Hyderabad concerts.
A press release from Insider.in says that the tour will also include a “transformative sensory experience.” The release adds, “This upcoming multi-city tour is poised to redefine the dynamic between fans and artists during live concerts.” It goes on to claim that Singh’s shows “will boast meticulously crafted SFX and sound quality that replicates a recorded CD in a performance that’s 100% live.”
On the stage production front, to make Singh’s concerts more “accessible and immersive for all his fans,” a ramp will be added to the main stage, extending into the audience. “This will make the show easy to view across all ticket categories,” the release adds.
