Arrows Encapsulates a Poignant Tell-A-Tale in ‘To Your World’

Featuring Raghav Meattle, the Mumbai-based music project’s new single offers hope amidst the chaos of heartaches and breakups

Published by

Stemming from the cycle of sorrow and hope, Mumbai-based independent music project Arrows brings forward a feel-good anthem, “To Your World.” With words woven by the founder, Dave Britto, “To Your World” follows the aftermath of an inevitable break-up and its consequences. Acknowledging the warmth of past memories, the track establishes the process of reminiscing to acceptance — acceptance that new memories and hope lie outside the past.

Featuring the vocals of indie singer-songwriter, Raghav Meattle with Yohanan D’Souza as producer, “To Your World” ups the emotional quotient with soft blues and an uplifting percussion-guitar ensemble. Taking the visual experience a step further, “To Your World” is available in two formats — a lyric video featuring motovlogger Oggy F exploring picturesque terrains, and a vintage-style music video showing three women leveraging therapeutic activities to deal with their emotions.

Earlier this year, Britto — who founded Arrows in 2018 — released his second collaborative single “Buried To Dust” featuring Siddharth Basrur. Through the collective project, Britto aims at blending vocalists with his self-composed songs, creating an immersive musical experience.
