Following the success of their Zephyrus G14, Republic of Gamers (ROG- a sub-brand of ASUS) brings the latest edition to their arsenal of gaming hardware with the refreshed ROG Zephyrus G14. Determined to offer their customers a linkage between their favorite genre and gaming hardware. Given Walker’s distinct cyber-punk and gaming persona, the collaboration to market their series came naturally.
ROG then opened the playing field to Walker–allowing him to customize his very own laptop. From blending his signature into the nameplate to selecting the keyboard color, Walker’s creation was so transcending that it captured millions of fans’ attention. Soon, the overwhelming response pushed ROG to officially add Walker’s creation to their edition.

The ROG Zephyrus G14 AW SE (Alan Walker edition) houses the latest technology in a convenient design to meet the demands of a modern creator. Blending the potent performance of 8-core, 16-thread AMD® Ryzen™ 9 5900HS CPU and the NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX™ 3050 Ti GPU, the ROG Zephyrus G14 AW SE caters to the needs of gamers and creators who desire functionality on the go.
Taking the design a step further, Walker blends core cyber-punk elements like hues of blue and grey weaving a futuristic feel. Using the systems 1,215 mini-LEDs, ROG has introduced four new animations to its AniMe matrix found on the lid of the laptop. The animations, which light up on the lid in Spectre Blue (an exclusive name derived from Walker’s track “The Spectre”), are further enhanced by the revamped nameplate and two fabrics belts– one of which reflects in the dark.
Giving the design a signature Walker touch, the producer has also added his logo to the A and W key and customized the keypad design to match that of his audio equalizer. With a bootup animation that shows Walker’s logo with a specially curated sound effect that Walker worked on himself, the ROG Zephyrus G14 AW SE is a collector’s gold mine for anyone who values music, technology, gaming and design as much as Walker.
Empowering The Future Of EDM
Walker developed an interest in computers, programming, and graphic design at a young age. Layering his seasoned understanding of software and technology, Walker would go on to teach himself music production and share the fruits of the musical endeavors on YouTube and SoundCloud. What started as a ‘bedroom’ project, where Walker–inspired by EDM producers K-391 and Ahrix, and film composers like Hans Zimmer and Steve Jablonsky– would refine tracks basis the feedback received from his online audience helped him find global success with his 2015 hit “Faded” (the remastered vocal version of his 2014 track “Fade”.)
Honing to his skills as a self-taught producer who navigated through the realms of electronic music production through FL Studio, Walker in collaboration with ROG introduces the ROG Remix- an exclusive DJ experience found on the surface of the packaging! Using the ROG Remix software, the built-in feature allows users to remix Walker’s hit “Sorry” or any song of their choice through three sampler effects and 18 effects curated by Walker himself. When connected to the laptop, the conductive elements spread on an acrylic surface can be activated with a sequenced choreography of the DJ’s fingers on the surface.
Designed to match every beat, the ROX Remix houses six buttons with a distinct sound and visual effect. Covering the bases, the remix system empowers the DJ with features like the Low Pass (to adjust the frequencies of the melody) and a speed meter (to adjust the tempo of the track.)
