Harris, a Scottish electro-house producer, earned $66 million in the past 12 months, while French record producer David Guetta and Dutch DJ Tiesto made $37 and $36 million respectively, beating the DJ Mag top three which comprise Dutch electro-house giant Hardwell, Greek/Belgian electronic duo Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Dutch trance artiste Armin van Buuren, who don’t feature in the top ten highest paid DJs of the world according to Forbes.
The other names on the Forbes list include American dub-step DJ Skrillex and electro-house producer Steve Aoki (both have earned $24 million), Swedish progressive house artist Avicii ($19 million) and Russian-German house DJ Zedde ($18 million).
