Attention Performers: Don’t Miss This Chance to Play at the All About Music Virtual Edition 2020

Your audience includes music label heads, streaming service honchos, A&R executives, event organizers, filmmakers and composers, TV and online media

If there is one pressing concern that independent musicians have been raising more than ever in the past few months, it is the lack of platforms for them to perform at and widen their audience. With the live music scene coming to a screeching halt four months ago and the uncertainty around the future of touring, both artists and promoters have had to rethink tactical and strategic moves. This year, the All About Music conference (to be held from August 18-20th) is focusing on solutions and possibilities within the music industry.

With an aim to turn the spotlight on promising talent, All About Music has joined hands with Rolling Stone India to invite entries from performing artists across styles and forms — solo singers, duos, bands, ensembles – to win a chance to perform at its virtual edition. A total of 24 performing artists will be chosen to perform at the three-day conference. For the uninitiated, All About Music is India’s biggest music confluences, bringing together stakeholders from varied networks within the industry – music labels, streaming services, A&R heads, event organizers, filmmakers, and composers, TV and online media, among others. Speaking of platforms for budding musicians, it cannot get bigger than All About Music.

Says Nirmika Singh, Executive Editor, Rolling Stone India, “The core of the music industry is talent and its discoverability. We are happy to combine forces with our longtime allies All About Music and help meritorious talent receive the best opportunities. As a music magazine, we are committed to putting artists first, a vision that is also shared by All About Music.”

Apart from this music showcase, the three-day conference will feature panels, talks, and networking opportunities like every year. All About Music is also seeking pitches from composers to present their songs for film and music labels; as well as from music entrepreneurs to present their innovative ideas.
