Badshah has sent waves of excitement through the music industry with the announcement of his upcoming third studio album, Ek Tha Raja.

The 38-year-old artist, celebrated for tracks such as “Proper Patola” and “Players,” took to his social media channels on Monday (February 5) to share the thrilling news with his fans.

In February last year, Badshah released his EP 3:00 A.M. Sessions. The album consisted of seven tracks with features from artists such as Devika Badyal, Karan Aujla, and Lakhwinder Ladali.

The artist also embarked on an international tour where he made history by becoming the first Indian rapper to sell out Wembley’s Ovo Arena in London.

“A big shoutout to all my fans in the UK for coming out over the weekend,” Badshah said in a statement at the time. “It has been an incredibly delightful experience for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed sharing the music and making memories with each one of you.”

He added, “It takes a lot to pull off shows like these, and I thank all the stakeholders involved in making this tour a success, and I look forward to performing again real soon!”

The first track of Badshah’s new album is set to drop on February 20th.
