Train, Muse, Karnivool, Scribe and More Announced for Bandland 2026

With U.K. act Muse and American band Train as headliners, it’s a dose of early 2000s rock and pop at the upcoming edition of Bandland festival, taking place on Feb. 14 and 15, 2026 at Bengaluru’s NICE Grounds.

Australian prog band Karnivool and the comeback of Mumbai’s beloved hardcore unit Scribe also mark the third edition of Bandland festival, produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live. Bengaluru-based rock/heavy metal act Girish and The Chronicles, American pop-punk band Pinkshift, Welsh band James And The Cold Gun, Los Angeles act The Sophs and New York rock act The Thing are also on the lineup.

Indian acts slated to perform at Bandland 2026 include singer-songwriters Tejas, Sen, Mali, Mumbai rock act The Lightyears Explode, New Delhi rock band Komodo Jane and a theatrical performance by pianist Sahil Vasudeva‘s collaboration with filmmaker/actor (and brother) Tariq Vasudeva.

General access (The Citizen) tickets are priced from ₹3,999 onwards, while elevated viewing platform access (Rock & Roller) tickets are priced upwards of ₹7,999. The fan pit area (Ace of Spades) tickets start at ₹12,999, offering a separate lounge access as well.

Train’s India debut comes just over two decades after they became known in the country (and globally) for songs like “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me),” the title track from 2001 album, which won Best Rock Song at the Grammys in 2002. In the years since, they’ve also delivered driving pop-rock hits like “Calling All Angels” (2003) and the radio-ruling “Hey, Soul Sister” in 2009, which went platinum. They most recently released their 11th album, AM Gold, in 2022, furthering their pop sound.   

Muse, known for their grandiose, often futuristic prog, will make their India debut on the back of releasing their recent single “Unravelling.” Becoming a known global name in the early 2000s with albums like Absolution and Black Holes and Revelations, Muse are best known for spell-binding stage production while they deliver hits like “Supermassive Black Hole” and “Uprising.”

Karnivool, for their part, return to India after a four-city tour in June 2024. This time, they’re playing a big festival stage and are arriving soon after releasing the new album In Verses on Feb. 6, 2026, their first since 2013’s Asymmetry.

Among the Indian acts, Mumbai band Scribe return for the first time since 2018. Best known for their genre-blending combo of metal, hardcore and hip-hop with a helpful dose of Bollywood pop culture, the five-member band will be back on stage after seven years.

Past editions of Bandland, which started in 2023, have been headlined by rock bands like Deep Purple, Goo Goo Dolls, Avenged Sevenfold and Extreme. The festival has also spotlighted acclaimed international acts like Australian punk band Amyl and the Sniffers, U.K. act Everything Everything and American psychedelic rock band The War on Drugs. Indian favorites such as Parikrama, Zero, Bloodywood, Thaikkudam Bridge, Parvaaz and Raman Negi have also performed.
