Behemoth To Perform In India

The Polish extreme metal band will headline the Indian Music Conference in Bengaluru

Another big announcement for metal fans in Bengaluru. Polish death metal band Behemoth will headline the annually held Indian Music Conference in Bengaluru on November 3rd. The two-day conference will be held at Clarks Exotica between November 2nd and November 4th.

The band made the announcement on their Facebook page. Behemoth are currently on an Eastern Europe tour after which they will proceed to tour South America this month. India would be their last announced concert.

Behemoth released their last studio album Evangelion in 2009, a year after that the band suffered a personal crisis. Frontman Adam Darski aka Nergal was diagnosed with leukemia forcing the band into a one-year limbo when Behemoth canceled all their shows. Earlier this year, Nergal recovered and Behemoth have been back in action. The band went back into the studio in April 2012 and are currently working on their next album that they plan to release sometime in early 2013.

This will be Behemoth’s first show in India. The Indian Music Conference previously hosted Cradle of Filth last year in Bengaluru. Ticket details to be announced soon.
