Bharg and Lothika Turn a Classic Jingle Into a Pop Banger on ‘Besabar’
The singer-producer turns crafts a synth-driven tune with the singer-songwriter
Singer-songwriter and producer Bharg teams up with singer-songwriter Lothika for a summery new jam titled “Besbar,” whose hook takes inspiration from a memorable beverage brand’s ad jingle and catchphrase of “Ooolalalelo.”
The song is described in a press release as “a celebration of travel, friendship, and spontaneous fun.” Bharg brings synth-pop energy to the breezy song, dueting with Lothika about taking on the world together.
Bharg tells Rolling Stone India that the song is dedicated to “the power of friendships and bonds that shape us.” He adds, “It encourages living freely, embracing the moment, and celebrating the connections that make life meaningful. With every beat, it inspires trust in those around you, reminding you that together, anything is possible.”
Lothika adds in her statement, “‘Besabar’ was meant to be a fun wild summer anthem but I never expected it to take flight like this!” In addition to amassing 2.5 million views on YouTube with the lyric video, the artists also got tapped for a quick ad campaign featuring the Indian Premier League cricket team Lucknow Super Giants. She adds about the response for the track, “‘Besabar’ is living its best life! Seeing everyone vibe to it is the best feeling ever and I’m so lucky to have been part of this project.”
The producer, who released his first song of 2025 with “Besabar,” recounts that he and Lothika wanted to create something that “feels like a summer escape—fresh, vibrant, and full of good vibes.” Terming it a “blast to work together” with Lothika, Bharg is proud of making a song that “celebrates being in the moment, the joy of close connections and the euphoria that comes with love and friendship.”
Lothika, for her part, adds, “This ride has been crazy fun especially with an artist like Bharg who is raw and personal and gives every song his fullest! This journey is just getting started, and I’m excited for all the new things coming.”
