Blacklisted

Blacklisted is an alternative rock act from Chennai, formed in 2008. Starting out as a college band, they won the 2009 edition of battle-of-the-bands competition Strawberry Fields at NLSIU, Bangalore.
The band consists of Samudra Gupta (vocals), Abhinav Krishnaswamy (guitars), Sriram T.T. (bass) and Niranjan Swaminathan (drums). The band is currently working on an album slated to be released in December 2011.
Blacklisted have a bluesy, heavy rock sound and list Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Audioslave as their influences.
