Blackpink’s Lisa and Her Alter Egos Are Heading to ‘Fortnite’

The singer/rapper will be the “main act” for “Fortnite Festival” when Season 12 debuts later this month

Blackpink’s Lisa will be the next artist to take over Fortnite.

The singer/rapper has been confirmed as the next featured artist for “Fortnite Festival,” when the game’s 12th season launches on Nov. 29. As the “main act” of Fortnite’s “Starlux Music Pass,” Lisa will deliver a virtual performance, with in-game character Melodie Mars serving as her support act.

Players will also have access to a fresh bundle of Lisa-inspired items, including an outfit inspired by her “Rockstar” music video. “Rockstar,” along with “FXCK UP THE WORLD (Vixi Solo Version)” and “New Woman,” will also be available as in-game Jam Tracks.

“I love seeing how Fortnite brought my alter egos to life in the game so perfectly,” Lisa said in a statement. “Being the main act for the Starlux Music Pass is an exciting opportunity for my fans to continue experiencing my favorite songs and outfits from my debut album, Alter Ego.”

Lisa’s Fortnite turn comes after Gorillaz served as the Season 10 “Fortnite Festival” headliners back in August. Other artists who’ve participated in the game include the Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, Karol G, Bruno Mars, and Sabrina Carpenter.

It’s been a busy year for Lisa, who released Alter Ego back in February and made her acting debut on Season Three of The White Lotus. She’s also performed at Coachella, collaborated with Maroon 5 on “Priceless,” and reunited with Tyla on a video for their collaboration, “When I’m With You.” On top of all that, Blackpink reunited for a stadium tour, which criss-crossed North America earlier this summer.
