Loopy guitars soundtrack a British love tale
Lana Del Rey’s “Video Games” clip got lots of attention when it hit the Internet, with its hazy Instagram filtered imagery. In this video, Boy George offers a cover of the song with a vivid tale of two lovers in Britain. His commanding delivery anchors the track, with loopy, sliding guitar strums soundtracking the couple’s journey. The clip shows the pair sharing beautiful, happy times ”“ riding a merry-go-round, visiting a beach and playing on a shipwreck. But despite all the good memories visited throughout the video, they’re only just that. “Video Games” is on Lana Del Rey’s major label debut, Born to Die.
