Looks like members of psychedelic duo Shpongle are taking turns to tour India. While Raja Ram, one half of Shpongle toured India in January this year, his fellow member Simon Posford has announced a five-city tour of India in January next year.

Posford will play a Shpongle DJ set and perform material from his solo project, Hallucinogen. Posford’s psychedelic/downtempo project with British producer Benji Vaughan, Younger Brother and Vaughan’s own solo psychedelic project, Prometheus, are support acts for the tour.

Posford last played at Channel [V]’s India Fest in Goa in 2011 and returns to promote his label, Twisted Records, which he founded with Vaughan in 1996. The Twisted Records Tour in India kicks off in Mumbai on January 24th and also includes shows in Pune, Bengaluru and Goa. Posford plays a Shpongle DJ set in Nashik on February 1st, at Sula Vineyards’ annual festival, Sulafest.
